An OST (Outlook Offline Storage file) is an exact replica of your Exchange server mailbox. When the Outlook e-mail client comes online, the OST synchronizes with the mailbox and downloads all the difference emails. An OST cannot be opened without the aid of server in normal situations. To open OST file without a server, you should follow these steps:

Selecting OST file to repair:
The 'Select Outlook File' option allows you to select the affected PST directly from a user-known location or search it in any drive or folder:

Searching for OST Files in hard disk:
Click 'Find Outlook File' to search for the OST file in the hard disk.

Searched OST files:
The searched OST files will be displayed as shown in the following figure. Click the desired OST file and click OK to select it.
